All welcome! The purpose of this MeetUp group is to play non-amplified music (mostly guitar but if you got your mojo* workin' -bring it along!) in a relaxed and friendly setting. We try to meet once a month at a convenient location. Sometimes we have seven people, sometimes it's just me and my shadow (eek!) But let's play together and see what sort of fun we can get up to. Every first Sunday of each month, we get together and read, discuss, and share Persian poems and poetry. We meet at the Grey Lynn community center; 510 Richmond Road, Grey Lynn. The next sessions is happening on the 7th of April from 5-7 pm. These sessions will continue on every first Sunday of each month unless you are told otherwise. This meet up is for the memory of my dearest father Yusef and his friends who shared his love of Persian poetry.
